The Chinese Broad–Sword is traditional to look at; but designed to be a practical & aggressive. This is a sword which does not look dainty by any means & was historically used for chopping & slashing; often carried by soldiers, serving a purpose similar to that of a machete. The sword has an ornate cup shaped pommel with almost sculptural details made in solid brass, this same material & design pattern is carried on to the sword–guard & rain–guard. The grip is made for high quality hard wood wrapped with nylon cord for a enhanced grip. The blade is hand forged & expertly tempered from superior quality high carbon steel.
