The straight dagger known as the Khanjali is Russian in origin. This dagger's design is an amalgamation of the Gladius from Rome, the Dirk from Scotland, & the Xiphos from ancient Greece. The dagger features an off-set, narrow fuller on both sides of a full tang, double-edged blade. Each side of the blade has unique beautiful designs engraved & inlayed with silver. In the past, the khanjali was employed as a secondary weapon, where as in current time it is hold ornamental value as a decorative item. The horn handle has a silver mounting and ornamentation. The scabbard features a ball point extension at the tip & is composed of high quality wood, leather, and exquisitely chased silver inlayed mounts.
