This folder features a quick SAT spring-assisted, high-end S35VN stainless steel blade showcasing Matsuda's trademark and distinctive blade grinds. The handle is constructed using full-length stainless steel liners with elegant linen Micarta slabs that are rugged, easy to clean and look better the more it is used. The SOG Kiku Assisted blade performs just like any workhorse knife, but it does so with more balance, class, and comfort. SAT OPENING SOG Assisted Technology (S.A.T.) works through the balance of opposing high-tension coil springs. As you initiate the opening action, the force propelling your blade open becomes greater than the force keeping it closed. LINEN MICARTA HANDLE Micarta is created from soaking layers of linen cloth in resin, then pressing them together. It offers superior grip in wet or dry conditions and develops an eye-catching patina the more it's used.
